Buyer confirms pickup
When the buyer takes physical possession of the vehicle, they confirm pickup inside the MyDealerBid app. This starts the title-shipping clock.

48-hour clock starts
The instant pickup is confirmed, the 48-hour title-shipping deadline begins for the seller. No exceptions.

Seller completes reassignment
Seller completes the title-reassignment section on the back of the physical title — odometer, signature, and full buyer-dealer information.

Ship FedEx / UPS overnight ONLY
Seller ships the physical title to the buyer dealer via FedEx Overnight or UPS Next Day Air ONLY within 48 hours. No USPS. No ground. No exceptions.

Upload tracking number
Seller uploads the FedEx / UPS tracking number to the MyDealerBid platform within the same 48-hour window. This is how the platform monitors the shipment.

Real-time tracking
MyDealerBid monitors the carrier tracking number in real time and surfaces delivery progress to both the buyer and seller dashboards.

Buyer confirms receipt
When the buyer physically receives the title, they confirm receipt in the app. The platform timestamps this event for the audit trail.

Payment released to seller
Payment releases to the seller 24 hours after the buyer confirms title received in the app.
Important Title Notes
FedEx Overnight or UPS Next Day Air ONLY — no USPS, no ground, no exceptions.
Seller must fill out the reassignment section on the back of the title completely (odometer, buyer dealer name, license number, address, signature).
If the title is not in the seller's name, the seller must provide a notarized Power of Attorney with the shipment.
If the vehicle was previously reassigned, the seller must include the reassignment document with the shipment.
MyDealerBid provides an official transaction invoice for every sale for DMV purposes. The invoice is generated automatically and is NOT a substitute for the physical title.
Seller is solely responsible for any lien release. The lien-release letter must be shipped with the title if applicable.
